Snake Malware: A Threat to Security
The US government, alongside agencies from other FIVI partners, essentially put out an incredibly detailed technical report of how this malware operates. The joint cyber advisory described the Snake Implant as one of the most sophisticated, if not the most sophisticated cyber espionage tool that the FSB had and had used for long-term intelligence collection for sensitive targets. That, of course, is very useful for security companies to be able to understand the malware,. To spot it in other places or look for similar malware that's out there.
