How to Make a Film About Your Head Injury

"I believe that my inner voice wasn't my own," he says. "12KM" is a short film based on his head injury. He tried to get it into festivals and they said, we'll accept movies up to 40 minutes for shorts. When I cut the film, I had friends that are festival programmers from the East Coast in the editor room. They watched it was a really, really awkward viewing experience.
