The Daydream of America's First President

America's first president loved to write in his diary. He kept very detailed journals throughout his life, but it seems he never recorded either of these encounters. Maybe that's because he was worried about his credibility. Did his men continue to follow him into battle if they'd heard their beloved leader was seeing beings from another world? Probably not. Washington let his men to victory won the Revolutionary War and gained America its independence. If he'd said something about a strange otherworldly encounter, he might still be paying tariffs to the king.
