How Snowflake Optimizes Costs in a Data Context
Snowflake has its own hop pools of resources. These pools allow us to have customers build things that have massive spikes in load. You can have something that comes online and asks for a thousand cores, have it very, very quickly execute,. spin down and be done. Elastic cloud resources. We think our warehouses that are fairly simple and sized by T-shirts will deal with the complexity of picking the right instance family for customers. And we're economically driving that number to something that makes sense for end customers.
