There is much to be learned from these kind of what Foucault calls those kind of micro-analyses of power, whatever. But you say at one point, Foucault cannot explain why people are showing up to the factory. Or why is there a huge surplus population of people being incarcerated? I guess I'm trying to fill in where all of the different sites at which this mute compulsion is being exerted. You have the infrastructure, you have the market, you have digital infrastructure, all these different things. Is that one of the places you see a fruitful crossover and you see something like a mute compulsion?
