Psychiatry - Do You Know When You're in Trouble?

I don't know of a devices that would allow people to detect, for instance, when they're veering towards a depressive episode for themselves. And even separate from modern technology, this has been part of the art of psychiatry as to help patients realize that sometimes other people observing them can give them the earliest warning signs of depression. We see this very often nd in in family. They'll notice when the patient is changing before the patient does. And then there are things the patient may notice, but not correctly ascribe to the onset of depression. A classic example of that is what we call early morning awakening. This is something that can happen very early as people start to slide into depression
