Is the Church the Moderator?
I was just listening to a conversation the other night at dinner, how can a population of 350 million have only 535 people representing them effectively? One man, one vote until fairly recently was designed for low populations where you knew who you elected. It's quite interesting. If you look at the American constitution, it looks at the scale issue and it basically the original constitution says nobody should be elected president on the popular vote because we'll get them with dogs and populace. Then you idiots allow the actual college to be mandated. So you have the worst of both possible worlds.
