The Importance of Nutrition in Sobriety
nutrition is so incredibly important in these patients for a number of reasons. They come into the hospital incredibly malnourished because when patients are really consuming alcohol heavily there are a lot of calories in alcohol and so they tend to not have an appetite for actually nutritious food with good bimonth minerals protein and that sort of thing. Good nutrition intervention early on can be helpful long term for these patients.
