Vanguard: A History of the Peasantry
It's a form of utopianism grounded in a peasant context which is still fairly parochial, still traditional and all this. It doesn't quite get to the stage where the contradictions will be resolved or where injustice will be wiped out. This new world that it imagines is still a world with a kingdom and lords and people in power who rule autocratically - except you're going to have an ideal king such as Jesus in charge.
