The Importance of a Career in Dentistry
I was really intimidated by the idea of going to a liberal arts school and being like I'm gonna pay for my way. So in the end I said okay, I'll do this program. Dentistry is very like you get kind of an instant gratification from solving a problem immediately. You patient comes to the problem, you solve the problem for them and they go home happy or not. But it's a situation. It's fast. So it was a good match for my personality. So I stuck with it. I went to residency and started practicing. And that has been my journey because I'm working part time.
