The Importance of Propaganda in Liberalism
I would be much more worried about something like fascism if the left were strong but because it's not I'm of the I don't think fascism is a serious political problem right now camp. The stability of liberal politics would then have to depend on inviting people into some such collective and so the question is like what are the solutions that liberal politics has for this desire of people to be like to be taken up into some kind of collective action? And you know from my part I almost want to bite the bullet and just say you know so be it but that's their that's what they're saying the comment you couldn't you couldn't beat them last time you won't beat them this time.
