The Importance of Deep Learning in Artificial Intelligence

We know that machines can perform things that we would call intelligence if performed by humans in ways that are very different to how humans perform them. If strong AI, though, will ever happen, it might be something very different from what we imagine. It might be something that doesn't have much to do with human intelligence. And this is where the play of imagination starts and where all the different interpretation or appropriation of what is a machine can develop.
