The goal here is to get rid of humans, get rid of human jobs. These people no longer are required because they can scale this technology in an alarming way. Using AI for debt collection certainly increases the capacity for these companies to go after individuals. It's just another use of this technology that maybe wouldn't have been instantly apparent, but it is absolutely happening.
