Is Happiness a Loading Concept?

Happiness is an empty concept. It just means being a good citizen is one of our functions. If other people find you pleasant to be around, then you're succeeding or your being. Youre fulfilling your function as a social animal in a way that you're not if you're a total hednistic bastard. I mean, he, he, and this, part of the purpose of the text is to try to define what that actually means. So if you feel like it's a loaded term, i'm ok with that.
