The Differences Between Afrocentricity and Pan-Africanism

Afro-centricity is the theory that says that African people can never achieve unity until we first have consciousness consciousness precedes unity. Pan-Africanism or any movement must be based on the notion that individuals see themselves as subjects not as objects in the margins of Europe. We need to have a certain understanding of ourselves and if we can't have that understanding then these goals that we want to achieve will fail, he said.
