This week marks the 54th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. On June 28th, 1969, New York City police raided a gay bar in Lower Manhattan. The queer community fought back and for six days they kept on fighting. We spoke to drag queen Terence Smith about what it was like to do drag in the 80s and 90s. RuPaul's Drag Race star Taylor Alexander describes drag as a tool for political organizing throughout the South.
