St. John the 23rd was an old guy of the Roman school, not a theological innovator at all. He made it very clear the first day of the council, this is to maintain and defend the deposit of the faith. So there's a schematic constitution on chastity, matrimony, the family, and virginity. And so they weren't a chic and they weren't in his active engagement with modern culture.
