I Don't Hate You, but I'm Not Hateful
In When to Walk Away, Shanti K. Davis writes that she has lost a lot of respect for Gary Thomas and the other authors who have spoken at his conference on married sex. She says in an email sent last August when she reached out to him with concerns about his conference around married sex: "I am really sorry that you feel like you hate me" The term my ministry has taken has broken your heart, she adds; but please understand how much your lack of support broke ours. We simply chose to listen and what we heard broke us.
