Is Storyboarding a Part of the Story?
I think the danger with the scene was that it could become over sentimental. But you're trying to tell a lot of different little stories. You want to keep it personal to the people I think that are in the shots. It was storyboarded for sure. Some of the shots changed as we went along, some went longer. The feel of it and remembering if you shot something a month before is very important.
