The Problem With Borrowing Money
We ought to see if we can dig up Thomas on usury and money. Money while it is fungible, it is actually a medium of exchange. And when you borrow money, you don't return that money to the lender. It's used up. It's gone. You don't even rent it actually. If you rent a house to somebody, the house is still there. The problems with borrowing money arise from the fact that it is metaphysically an abomination. There is a reason why almost every single contract that has ever existed would not tolerate it.
