I'm Not a Fan of Preprints, but I'm a Bit Conflicted About This.
i was invited to taper a paper, and i read the abstract. If it was just based on the abstract, i would have accepted it. But for this particular journal, when you click on the click le this button to accept, and then i actuall had the opportunity to read the paper. And i actually decided to decline reviewing it because i was able to read thewhole paper. It's pos ththe problem with valuing the act of submission is, i think i'd feel it much worse now if it were still pertinent to my life. Reviewing that's obviously bad, strongly gives you the impression that whatever diligence you put into the review will not be reflected in whatever
