Inflation is a political problem that should raise all kinds of questions about what kind of a society we are, who's going to pay for this, what are our priorities. We can't just print money. We have to take it from the rich in one way or the other. Price controls have always come with wage controls. And if you screw up wages and price formation, you're going to have other problems if you don't have an alternative. That means we have to really radically address distribution and start talking about structural changes in the economy"
