Relay Operators
There's a spam issue am where anyone can make a new noster, public privacepar and keep spamming. One way that you could stop spam as a relay operator is if someone wants to use your relay and have their messages relayed through your relay, have them pay you a certain amount of sats. So there's actually a direct monetization model for someone to basely run anonymous relays. You don't even have to know who's operating the relay, and bringing in a constant sat stream of people who want to use that relay. There's other options there a will j b 55 mentioned like some kind of proof of work similar to, like, the hash cash method
