The Flight Crew - A Brief History of the Flight

It had settled in the trees about fifty yards down a slope so steep that it wasn't clear to me how Lawrence Braid or anyone else could have reached it safely. If I had learned anything in my years doing foolishly adventurous things though, it's that where there is a will there is a way. The structure had been punctured on the left side and one of the pilot's seats was totally mangled. A thin but possibly deadly dark crevasse beckoned to him from a split in the terrain. There was not much to the space before me, room enough for the flight crew that was about it. No bodies were found; only an index card taped to the floor here
