Climate Change and the Refugee Crisis

The story of the industrial world's coma casi mission is the story of a single lifetime. The planet brought from seeming stability to the brink of catastrophe in the years between a baptism or barmitzva and a funeral. That fact has a tendency to inspire false hope in some if the real problem only started a lifetime ago, perhaps we can solve it in the space of a lifetime. But reality does not work that way, my friends. Once the carbon is out there, released from trees burning in millions of acres of wild fires, from the exhaust pipes of hundreds of millions of cars or from the smokestack of factories, it is there to stay. If we transitioned entirely to
