He says the platform companies waged expensive p r campaigns beyond the stay home during covid which actually didn't all that negatively affect their bottom line. Martin: While uber is pouring xtens of millions of dollars into the lobbing effort for prop 22, to re classify their drivers as gig workers who are not forded things like unemployment, insurance, health care benefits, paid time off, while they're lobbing for anti labor practices for theyr, disproportionately black and brown wriders.
