The Flight of a Vega
Amelia has run into another storm. She doesn't have her altimeter to tell her how high she's flying. The controls are frozen and the plane is spinning as it hurtles down towards the ocean. Amelia holds the control stick tight and does her best to keep the plane steady. Out the windows, it's pitch black except for the red and green lights on the wings and the blue flame above the engine.
