Housing Wire Daily - How Has the 2022 Housing Forecast Changed?
Sarah Wheeler: The biggest story that I saw in the month of December was that mortgage rates going from 7.375 to near 6% changed the housing market. It formed a stabilized base and that this is something you could work from going in the future, she says. Sarah Wheeler: We're working from a very low bar now. So it doesn't take much to move the needle and the data. That's 6% mortgage rate actually even surprised me how much that changed the marketplace.
