The Effects of Online Games on Chess Players

I think this is kind of perennial issue for for chess players and you know it's one that I thought a lot about. These games put you in a very heightened adrenaline rush state and that can be positive and negative right so when you're feeling good you're like little rats in a cage pressing a bar for our next fix of cocaine, which is essentially what happens with these online games. So the easiest way to deal with that is to turn the computer off or play less than five minutes at a time.
