How Vertu Deals With the Competition in the US Equities Market
Vertu is a U.S.-based electronic market maker that has been around since 2008. The company spent about $70 million last year on its technology market data infrastructure for US equities, which accounts for 25 to 30 per cent of the firm's revenue. Vertu also operates in FX and metals markets where it makes money by connecting with other broker-dealers across the world.
