Being Present Is Not Eliminating Anything

The personality is an illusion. Or the lens of the personality is dense so that quality of aliveness gets deadened through the density. So being present is not eliminating the feeling that reality is not the way you want it to be or what you're looking for. It's being present with the disappointment and the reaction to that feeling like it's not in that, you know, not as it should be, so to speak. That can be the doorway to recovering the in the moment experience of that kind of vibrancy.
