Marilla, I'd Love to Wear a Dress With Puffed Sleeves
Anne wanted a dress with puffed sleeves. Marilla said she didn't have any material to waste on the ridiculous looking things. The next morning, warnings of a sick headache prevented marilla from going to sunday school with anne. Anne started on irreproachable arrayed in the stiff black and white satien - which contrived to emphasize every corner and angle of her thin figure.
