The Life of St. Benedict

Other women flocked to St. Scholastica and they began praying together in the same place. Eventually she was almost forced to find to found the monastery to house all of those women who came to pray together but what was great is she used her brother's rule. It said that every year they would meet at a farmhouse because it would have been against the rule of the rule of St. Benedict for them to meet each other's monasteries. So once a year they would pass the days in holy conversation elevating their hearts to God and urging each other on in their monastic life actually.
