What Happened to the Middle?

i hate to say this, i love the american constitution, but boy, we'd have it a whole lot better right now if we had a parliamentary system. The information age as completely split us apart and it's not recoverable. Can never get back together again. If we vote for presency out of hate every time, then we end up with what we deserve: mediocrity, more bureaucracy, more hatred, more division. It's broken. And if we keep having presidential elections where you're voting against the guy you hate instead of for the hero,If we continue this cycle, we'll end up being dead, dead as a doornail.
