I think we've lost the sense of participatory knowing in our culture even though we've got increasing scientific evidence for it's important there's also perspectival learning. We need to have the theory that religitimates reconnects us with them right culturally and but as you're saying we also need the embodied practices that put us in touch with them and the wisdom is possible.

Today's guest is John Vervaeke, PhD. John is an award-winning lecturer at the University of Toronto in the departments of psychology, cognitive science and Buddhist psychology. John joins Emerge to discuss the meaning crisis, it's consequences, and how we might design ecologies of practice to chart a path to new vistas of meaningfulness.
