Chips Act - The 52 Billion Dollars for Semi Conductors

The 52 billion dollars located in the package we were just discussing yesterday, the department of commerce published results from a survey it conducted. The results essentially said that the united states is facing an alarming chip shortage. So what would this 52 billion dollars for semi conductors do? Would it essentially amount to a new us? Industrial strategy for chips? Well, i think we already have the industrial strategy. This would put some money behind it, and i think important money. Although you can see companies are responding anyway.
