Is There a Bottoming in Inflation?

The average inflation rate since april of last year is much higher than the average inflation rate that we had between two thousand and two thousand 19 years ago. That suggests to me that maybe we've got a secular turn in the inflation rate. Technology is the one thing that could continue to exert downward pressure on interest rates. But that's not enough by itself. It needs demographics, and it needs g and globalization. If they are questionable, there's your case for that.
