Even at the moment of peak kind of unipolar hegemony you also see simultaneously the rise of China. The seeds of this multipolar world were already sprouting not to mention Hugo Chavez and Venezuela who came to power in 1999 I mean Lula. If we are ever going to have a unified world a single world single political entity that unifies the whole of humanity it will only be in socialism because capitalism actually requires the nation state form.
