Is Saturated Fat a Cause of Heart Attacks?

Donna Brazile: The Minnesota Corner experiment is one of the most difficult studies to interpret. In 1973, France completed a study that showed no difference in cardiac events between groups on high and low saturated fat diets. But Chris Ramsden looked at some subgroups and found higher incidence of coronary events among those who were eating more polyunsaturated fat. Brazile: I think if one really looks at the literature on saturated fat and cholesterol, you find a very mixed bag.
