The Importance of Being Alive Together With Christ
When Paul says he made us alive together with Christ, he's also saying something very real happened to you at the point you placed your faith in Jesus Christ. You were at that moment connected to the life of Christ so that what happened in the past when he died on the cross happened to you as well. So it's God's gift that this has happened and he raised you up with him. That's why Easter is such a big deal for us as Christians. We celebrate the resurrection because that is where our new life comes from.
