The 10 Billion Problem in the Music Industry
In the last 20 years recorded music sales have dropped 45% and there's been $10 billion in lost revenue. Music industry 20 years ago, so 2001 at the peak of CD-R, it was about a $24 billion industry. Today, music is 40%. I think it's like 15 billion. Video game industry is five times bigger. It's actually over $100 billion.
