Is Baked Oats Overrated?

Baked oats were this trend where, basely, you'd take oats and mix it with some liquid ingredients. I think that baked oats are overrated because although they're delicious, i just don't really get what they are. They've always been kind of baz because i'm like, is this a muffin? Like, i'd rather almost make, like, an oatmeal bread, like an oatmeal, you know, quick bread,like an oatmeal loaf,.
