Was It Justifiable for Chase to Use Demagoguery?

The article that got closest to that was explicitly about judicial rhetoric and the appropriateness of what Chase had said. They almost got the two-thirds super majority that they would have needed to remove him from office. So I use that case as a way to kind of open up the discussion and think, you know, was it justifiable for Chase to use this kind of rhetoric? He didn't just use demagoguery. He deployed it to advance a deeper substantive argument about what was going on. Right.
