How to remove old Nest thermostats from Google Home

Rich explained that if you’re trying to remove an older Nest Thermostat from the Google Home app, you’ll need to delete it from the Nest app instead for it to fully disappear.

He also noted that Google is ending support for the first-generation Nest Learning Thermostats from 2011 and 2012 — so if you still have one of those, it’s time to upgrade.
