The horror store of the books that we have read recently, I think the horror store one is probably the most relevant. We're like, yeah, it seems a little gimmicky, but it's like, it's fun and a little creepy and a little interesting and it didn't take me very long to read. So, you know, I liked it and that's that. And everybody's three-star good reviews for this one. But nothing else really came to mind.

Several People Are Typing was mostly written pre-pandemic but failed to garner publisher interest until a virus locked us all inside our homes with nothing to turn to but our jobs and our friend-Slacks. It manages to perfectly encapsulate what it feels like to use Slack for anything, with a dash of creepypasta for good measure.
