Elsa had a really hard time at girl scout camp. Some kids asked her, why are you going to girlscout camp? They thought she was a boy. She kind of got in arguments with other girls and the leadership. And that was the end of her girl scouting career. So just thought, if i don't want girls couts, why can't a girl bein boy scouts? Humph.
Five years ago, after decades of resistance, the Boy Scouts of America made a momentous change, allowing girls to participate. Since then, tens of thousands have joined.
Today we revisit a story, first aired in 2017, about 10-year-old twins deciding which group to join, and find out what’s happened to them since.
