The Importance of Humor in Beauty

It seems to me that if we're using the term beauty in a non context sensitive way, it seems like I don't have like a clear idea of what it is that unites all of those things that we call beautiful. So for your approach to work or be plausible, it would seem to me that I think a better position would be to say that humor value is objective and then it's distinct from aesthetic value. It just so happens that the instances that you pointed out were instances of humor that were aesthetically demeritorious rather than aesthetically meritorious. We'll cut it!
