The Crowd Consciousness of the Outsider
Crowd consciousness would be one of the manifestations. See, there's safety in the crowd. So when we talk about the hero's journey and the path of the outsider ... those are all suspended by your absorption. And this is another one of these tremendous fascinons. The crowds, the presence of the crowd is numinous. It's actually feminine, believe it or not. But although it appears to be active and mobilized and all, it's not. And it's comforting. It's a surrogate wound. So you can't even come to the bottom. There's even theories from people like autorank that say they unconscious.
