The Effects of Strong Kids on Ratings

There's definitely a lot of it in England that there are definitely underrated juniors at the moment. I think one of the things is we want to get more feeder rated tournaments that junior players can play in just in order to correct it. There have been years with Covid where they haven't been able to play as many rated games as they might normally and so things we've talked about within the English Chess Federation is how to get a better provision of rated games for junior players which will sort of help improve ratings.
