The Multiplication Table Is a Good Thing, Right?

Anyone who's read Calvin's Institute knows that more than anything else, he cautions against speculation. We accept what the Bible says and we try to make sense of it. But the fact that we can't explain it like the multiplication table is is no cause for alarm. In fact, it's what we should expect when you're dealing with an infinitely wise and holy God.
